Wale is one of my favorite new artists. His mixtape “Back to the Feature” I posted on a lil while back and is another must have. These are the first two official tracks from his first album entitled “Attention Deficit” set to be released on September 22nd. I like both tracks however the choice of putting Gucci Mane on the second one is a little questionable.

I’ve been waiting to hear some new Wayne for a while now, but this picture pretty much sums up how I feel about this track. I’m pretty disappointed. The beat is ok, the lyrics aren’t anything special, a couple clever lines but not what I was waiting months to hear. Check it out to see what you think tho, to each his own.

Twista’s new album Category f5 was released today. I’ve always been a fan of Twista, Adrenaline Rush is still one of my favorite songs. I suggest you go buy the album. This track “Alright (feat Kanye West)” is real nice, I like it a lot. The beat was produced by Kanye and No I.D. You can also download the track below
Rothbury

For the second straight year Rothbury was nothing short of spectacular. Early in the spring I signed up through the Work Exchange Team to work at the festival to get a free ticket. The job they gave me was great, I was a member of the Walking Information Team which means for the 18 hours I worked I just walked around answering people’s questions in the festival so I only missed a couple shows. My favorite shows were Lotus (3rd time I’ve seen them), String Cheese Incident (1st time), STS9(2nd and 3rd), Umphrey’s McGee(1st). It was great, our campsite had 20 people so i got to know a lot of new people as well. Here’s some of my favorite pictures I caught. I’m gunna make a page with all the pictures pretty soon as well.
